The people of Baghdad called him the devil with severed hands. He served his prison hard. After serving ten years in prison, he once escaped from prison.
As soon as he got out of prison, he decided to resume his profession as a thief. Despite the amputation of his arm and the hardships of prison, his character did not suffer at all.
One night he went on his expedition.
After walking around, he entered the house through the big one. There were rooms around the roof of the house. He entered a large room where there was a carpet of palm leaves, a pillow and some prayer caps, and on the other side a pashmina. Some bags, shawls and clothing bags were in poor condition.
A thief from Baghdad put a sheet on top, tied a knot and tried to tie it, but due to the lack of one hand he could not tie it, sat down out of breath. Entered the room.
Seeing Sabat doing the knot, he said, “Brother, you cannot do this work without someone's help. I will help you. Sabat agreed with him and made two knots of clothing. The weak one put a big knot on his head. And he gave Sabat a little light ball and said, "You don't have an arm, so pick up a light weight and I'll take it wherever you say."
Sabat went to his residence. On the way, because of the rise, the frail man fell ill, stumbled and fell with a bump. Sabat cursed furiously and kicked him hard in the back. The weak man stood up and apologized for having fallen due to weakness.
Ibn Sabat began the journey by again placing a large bump on the old man's head in the hope of gaining strength. As he walked, he came to the ruins that were the thief's hideout in Baghdad. I got it and you came later so all this stolen property became mine and you can't find a leader like me in all of Baghdad so from today you are my student.
The old man politely and respectfully said, “Brother, all this wealth is blessed for you. Unfortunately, I could not serve you, but because of my weakness I caused you trouble, for which I apologize and allow you to leave. "I want to." Saying "God Hafiz", he headed towards the city.
On the other hand, Ibn Sabat's heart, mind and conscience were concerned about the good behavior of his comrade, and his conscience troubled him.
As soon as dawn broke, a thief from Baghdad went in search of his partner, the strange thief of the night, to apologize for the behavior of the previous night, thinking that he had left the building at night.
Where he stole at night, but after the robbery there was no chaos. Instead, it was observed that people walked into this house with respect. A thief from Baghdad asked a man, "Whose house is this?" .
He said, “You seem to be new to Baghdad. This blessed house is the refuge of our Sheikh Hazrat Junaid Baghdadi.” By chance I met this kind old man. When I entered and looked into the room, I saw the same old man who was sitting on the matla and teaching.
And the hall is full of educated people.
In the meantime, the call to prayer was given, everyone began to go to the mosque for prayer. Ibn Sabat, the famous and cruel thief of Baghdad, fell at his feet, weeping uncontrollably and asking for forgiveness for the previous night's misbehavior. Sheikh Junaid Baghdadi buried him. He took it and hung it around his neck. And he said, smiling: "Dar Tova is still open."
“The world of Ibn Sabbat changed in an instant.
He entered the sheikh's circle and cut off his hand to Satan and Sab, the robber of Baghdad. He worshiped under the shadow of Sheikh Junaid al-Baghdadi. They knew him with great respect and respect. The beauty, morals and character of the man of God Junaid Baghdadi in a few moments forced him to enter the post of God and in a few moments led the thief of Baghdad to the right path. Talk of Karamata became commonplace.
